Council decided to spend $83,000 from the city's systems and technology reserve to cover a funding shortfall in Port Moody's asset management project.

The city's application for a provincial/federal municipal rural infrastructure grant of $333,000 for the project was rejected in April.

The project would create a new reporting system for the city to maintain records that are currently paper-based.
