4.1 Division Functional Budget Overview – Fire

Staff provided a Division Functional Budget Overview presentation for the Fire Rescue division.

At the request of the Committee, staff provided additional information on staffing, equipment, uniform contracts, overtime costs, fire boats, ambulance calls, charges for false alarms, training, volunteer section, etc.

The Committee thanked staff for the presentation.

4.2 Division Functional Budget Overview – Legislative Services and Corporate Communications

Staff provided a Division Functional Budget Overview presentation for the Legislative Services and Corporate Communications division.

The Committee thanked staff for the presentation.

4.3 Division Functional Budget Overview – City Manager

Staff provided a Division Functional Budget Overview presentation for the City Manager division.

At the request of the Committee, staff provided additional information on harbour management.

The Committee thanked staff for the presentation.

5.1 Municipal Insurance Dividend Cheque

Moved, seconded and CARRIED

THAT the letter from the Municipal Insurance Association of BC dated September 14, 2012 be received for information.
