4.1 Zoning Bylaw Map Amendment - 2614 St. Johns Street
Report from Development Services - Planning, dated November 22, 2012. / File: 6700-20-109

Councillor Dilworth called three times for public input. There was no public input.

In response to questions from the Committee, the applicant provided further information on building placement, parking access, parking availability, the heritage conservation project, and code requirements for handicap access.

The Committee also expressed concerns that such low density use may not be appropriate in the area, and suggested that a land swap may be beneficial. A Committee member also suggested that downzoning from C3 would result in the loss of opportunity for a major development through a joint venture that could provide more benefit to the church.

Moved, seconded and CARRIED
THAT the application for a Zoning Bylaw Map amendment for 2614 St. Johns Street be supported as presented.
