City of Port Moody Zoning Bylaw 1988, No. 1890, Amendment Bylaw No. 224, 2014, No. 2984 (909-911 Clarke Road)(CD 60), being a bylaw to amend City of Port Moody Zoning Bylaw, 1988, No. 1890.

City of Port Moody Official Community Plan Bylaw 2010, No. 2849, Amendment Bylaw No. 11, 2014, No. 2986 (909-911 Clarke Road)(CD 60), being a bylaw to amend City of Port Moody Official Community Plan Bylaw, 2010, No. 2849.

Mayor Clay read the meeting procedures.
The City Clerk confirmed that the statutory requirements for this Public Hearing had been met.
The General Manager of Development Services provided an overview of the proposed bylaws.


PUBLIC REPRESENTATIONS
Jerry Spanier, Port Moody, self-identified as an immediate neighbour to the proposed development, and spoke in support of the development. Mr. Spanier noted that there have been no issues with the right-in, right-out only driveway access for his complex, and expects no access issues for the proposed development. Mr. Spanier noted that the developer has been very open to discussions with neighbours in addressing concerns.
Dale Staples offered to answer questions on behalf of the applicant.
Kathy Pearn, Port Moody, spoke in favour of the development and supports the right-in, right-out access to the proposed development.
The Mayor called three more times for public input. There were no more written or verbal comments on Bylaw 2984 and Bylaw 2986 from the public.

1.2 Zoning Bylaw Text Amendment – Fish Hatchery

File: 6700-20-124 and 3900-02

City of Port Moody Zoning Bylaw 1988, 1890, Amendment Bylaw No. 225, 2014, No. 2985, being a bylaw to add the definition of Fish Hatchery and to add Fish Hatchery to the list of Permitted Uses in Public Services (P1) zone.

The General Manager of Development Services provided an overview of the proposed bylaws.

The Mayor called three times for public input. There were no written or verbal comments on Bylaw 2985 from the public.
