Staff provided an overview of the Official Community Plan Amendment and Rezoning Application and answered a question on the cost to install a traffic signal at the intersection of Seaview Drive and Clarke Road.
The applicant gave a presentation on the application, outlining the design of the project, and answered questions on the location of the parking lot, the size of the children’s play area, and garbage pick-up arrangements.

Mayor Clay called for public input.
Garth Chorney, Port Moody, expressed concern about the traffic in the area and suggested that the project be rejected in favour of single family detached homes subdivided into small lots.
Karen Rockwell, Port Moody, expressed support for the project, noting that it would provide additional housing for young families in the City.
Jamie Yuen, Port Moody, expressed concern about the increase in traffic and limited parking spaces, and suggested that consideration of the project be postponed.
Sam Chula, Port Moody, expressed concern about the high density proposed.
Danielle Fritz, Port Moody, expressed support for the project, noting that it would help provide young families with affordable housing.
Mohammed Ibrahim, Port Moody, expressed concern about the high density, noting that the streets are too narrow and that there may be safety concerns.
Keith Pulford, Port Moody, expressed support for the project, noting that it would help improve housing affordability.
Corey Augland, Port Moody, expressed support for the project, noting that there is a need for more density to increase housing affordability.
Desiree Dupuis, Port Moody, expressed support for the project, noting that it would help create more affordable housing supply.
Kevin Derostin, Port Moody, expressed support for the project.
Kevin Mole, Port Moody, expressed support for the project, noting that it would help create more affordable housing supply.
Lisa Gowans, Port Moody, expressed support for the project, noting that it would help create more affordable housing supply for young families.
Daniel Carcerono, Port Moody, expressed support for the project, noting that it would help create more affordable housing.
David Peters, Port Moody, expressed concern about the high density, lack of parking spaces, and traffic safety.

Mayor Clay called three times for further public input.
