Gail Mullan and Bev Harris, members of the Grandmothers Advocacy Network, provided an overview of the organization's
work, and requested that the City light up City Hall or another public area in orange on November 25, 2017 to show support for eliminating violence against women and girls.

Brad Chase provided statistics on discrimination against people based on race, religions, and sexual orientations, and proposed that, in addition to the rainbow crosswalks that the City approved, a number of crosswalks be installed around the City to recognize the various forms of discrimination.
Mr. Chase presented potential crosswalk designs to recognize members of different racial, religious, and social groups.

6.1 Revised Draft Arts and Culture Master Plan

The Manager of Cultural Services gave a presentation on the revised draft Arts and Culture Master Plan, including the history of the project, the results of the resident survey, changes to the first draft, strategic objectives, and implementation plans.
The Manager of Cultural Services answered questions on possible collaboration with other civic committees, public art
sponsorship, and the Public Arts Master Plan.

6.2 Secondary Suite Task Force Recommendations

The Acting General Manager of Development Services provided an overview of the Secondary Suite Task Force recommendations and answered questions on business licence fees.
