At a special board meeting held November 28,2006, the SD 43 School board directed staff to start a consultation process with consideration to closing 8 elementary schools in the district:

 

The eight elementary schools being considered for closure by June 30, 2007 are:

• College Park

• Coronation Park

• Moody

• Lincoln

• Meadowbrook

• Millside

• Mountain View

• Vanier

 

The Board of School Trustees is expected to make a decision on the proposed school closures at the February 27, 2007 board meeting
