Smart Choices / City Soup

Smart Choices society was established in 2001     , taking advantage of federal government grant programs to develop e-communications and community portals.

The goal is to

In  the cities 'turned over' the assets of the city soup operations to CS Networks, a company that was to further develop the technology and market it to other cities and clients.  The cities would pay annually for the service but would be compensated with commissions on the sales that CS Networks was able to complete.

In March 2007 CS Networks closed their doors - they did not report any sales of the city soup technology.
