– Bylaw No. 2738 Development Permit 2010-68

Report of Public Hearing dated November 27, 2007 for reference File: 6700-20-71 / 3060-30-68 / BL2738

“City of Port Moody Zoning Bylaw 1988, No. 1890, Amendment Bylaw No. 181, 2007, No. 2738”a bylaw to rezone 3355, 3365 and 3375 Dewdney Trunk Road from a one family residential zone to a comprehensive development zone to permit 23 townhouse units.

THAT Bylaw No. 2738 be now adopted.

THAT staff be authorized to issue Development Permit No. 2010-68 subject to the required documentation, final plans, fees and securities having been submitted to the satisfaction of staff;
AND THAT the Mayor and Clerk be authorized to execute the necessary legal documents required in support of Development Permit No. 2010-68.
 

“City of Port Moody Fire Protection and Emergency Response Bylaw, 2010, No. 2835” a bylaw to provide for the prevention and suppression of fires, for regulating the conduct of persons at fires and to authorize the issuance of permits in order to protect life and property.

THAT Bylaw No. 2835 be adopted.

“City of Port Moody Municipal Ticket Information Utilization, 1996, No. 2298, Amendment Bylaw No. 2858” a bylaw to incorporate recent changes in legislation and to amend fines relative to the City of Port Moody Fire Protection and Emergency Response Bylaw No. 2835.

“City of Port Moody Sign Bylaw 1998, No. 2403, Amendment Bylaw No. 2864” a bylaw to amend the Sign Bylaw in relation to insurance requirements on public property and to clarify the location of sandwich board signs relative to existing businesses.

THAT Bylaw No. 2863 be amended by deleting Section 2B in its entirety;

THAT the bylaw be given three readings this evening and be considered for adoption on November 23, 2010;

THAT the Finance Committee receive the 2011-2015 Utilities Financial Plan Report from the Corporate Services Department dated October 29, 2010;

AND THAT the 2011 utility rates outlined in the report be approved and included in the Fees Bylaw.
