THAT building heights be reduced to a maximum of 4 storeys in Coronation Park, excluding the corner lot at Ioco and Barnet, until such time as a neighbourhood plan is completed.

THAT the foregoing motion be amended by deleting "4 storeys" and substituting "3-12 storeys excluding the gas station site at the corner of Barnet and Ioco".

THAT the recommendations identified in Attachment 8 titled Potential Housekeeping Amendments for Consideration and Attachment 9 titled Potential Revisions for Consideration Based on Civic Committee Feedback, of the May 10, 2013 Development Services report, be included in the OCP for consideration.

THAT the foregoing motion be amended by adding: "with the amendment that the words "such as affordable housing" be removed from the wording of proposed action item 11 of Attachment 9.

THAT the motion to include Attachment 9 titled Potential Revisions for Consideration Based on Civic Committee Feedback in the OCP be amended by incorporating into Item 7 the following: "THAT a new policy be included in each of the development permit areas to state that given Port Moody’s designation as City of Arts there is an expectation that building design will incorporate unique features that promote and enhance the City of the Arts designation.

THAT the maximum building height allowance be set at 6 storeys in Moody Centre east of the Barnet Highway and west of Williams Street in order to ensure that the OCP remains compatible with Port Moody’s small town heritage.

THAT staff produce an image that would illustrate the visual impact of 20 storey towers if located on the waterfront from different view perspectives in the residential area of Moody Centre and also showing varying heights on the lower rise proposed in Moody Centre.

THAT the motion to approve Attachment 10 titled Potential Revisions based on Community Feedback for Consideration be amended in Item 5 to change Section 15.5.6 to indicate that above 4 storeys the upper floors would be set back from St. Johns Street.

Councillor Royer left the meeting at 8:24 pm.

THAT, based on discussion at the May 14, 2013 reconvened Committee of the Whole meeting, a Town Hall meeting be scheduled for June 2013, date to be confirmed, to provide additional opportunity for community consultation with respect to the DRAFT Official Community Plan.

THAT, in section 9.2.4 Industrial Business Development, policy 11 (a) Suncor Lands and the first paragraph of policy 11 (b) IOCO Lands be removed from the Official Community Plan until direction is received from the public.
