If you are like me, you are appalled at the amount of packaging that comes with products these days.  Manufacturers and retailers gear their packaging choices to marketing, not to environmental concerns, and the number of items that now come in these 'plastic molded display packages' is incredible. 

 

One item that I receive quite alot of is 'packing peanuts' - the peanut or 's' shaped foam and styrofoam packaging materials that many goods are shipping in in cartons.    I was happy to recently discover that the UPS Store (formerly Mailboxes Etc) will accept these materials for re-use.  The UPS Store I have used is on North Road, between Lougheed Hwy and Highway 1, and their phone number is 604 931 6377.
