Mayor Clay read the meeting procedures.

The City Clerk confirmed that the statutory requirements for this Public Hearing had been met.

The General Manager of Development Services provided an overview of the proposed bylaws.

PUBLIC REPRESENTATIONS
Ed Gannon, Port Moody, requested clarification on the effect park dedication would have on the riparian setbacks of neighbouring properties.

Upon request from Council, Staff indicated that dedicating a property as park has no effect on the riparian setbacks of neighbouring properties.

The Mayor called two more times for public input. There were no more written or verbal comments on Bylaw 2992 and Bylaw 2991 from the public.

THAT City of Port Moody Bylaw No. 2992, being a bylaw to amend "City of Port Moody Bylaw, 2014, No. 2955" (Official Community Plan Map Amendment), be forwarded to the October 28, 2014 Regular Council meeting for further consideration.
