A Bylaw to rezone the property located at 2621 St. Johns Street from Community Commercial (C3) to Comprehensive Development 63 (CD63).
Mayor Clay read the meeting procedures.
The Corporate Officer confirmed that the statutory requirements for this Public Hearing have been met.
Staff provided an overview of the application.
The applicant gave a presentation on the proposal and provided an overview of the design process and changes that have been implemented based on input from Development Services staff, members of the Land Use Committee, and the public.
The Mayor called for public input.

David Ritcey, Port Moody, expressed support for the proposal, noting that the form and scale of the proposed building is in alignment with the expectations of the community and that the development would be a positive step forward in the revitalization of Moody Centre; however, Mr. Ritcey would like traffic issues in Moody Centre to be addressed.
Sarah Luisio, Port Moody, expressed concerns about the energy efficiency and environmental friendliness of the building.
Jim Parker, Port Moody, expressed support for the proposal but is concerned with parking and traffic in the area.
The Mayor called three times for further public input. There were no more comments from the public.
Moved, seconded, and CARRIED
THAT City of Port Moody Zoning Bylaw, 1988, No. 1890, Amendment Bylaw No. 230, 2016, No. 3019 be referred to the Regular Council meeting of March 8, 2016 for consideration
