Staff responded to questions from Council regarding fees and the process for review of events on City properties.

THAT staff be directed to report back on a one-day Community Celebration to be held on Canada Day, which will also serve as an opening event introducing the Golden Spike Days event;
AND THAT this one-day Community Celebration include elements such as the parade, Day of the Arts, the Inlet Music Festival, and fireworks.

4.3 2016 Council Procedure Bylaw Update

Staff provided a synopsis of the process to date and responded to questions from Council regarding acting Mayor designation, acting Chair designation for committees, seconding motions, and interaction with speakers during Public Input Period.
