Moved, seconded, and CARRIED THAT the budget of up to $1,100 approved for the transportation requirements for the tour of Lower Mainland seniors’ centres and facilities be funded from Council Contingency as recommended in the memo dated April 11, 2018 from Finance and Technology Department – Financial Services Division regarding Funding Source for Tour of Lower Mainland Seniors’ Centres and Facilities. 4.2 Funding Source for CivX 2018: Smart Communities, Smart Region Symposium

Moved, seconded, and CARRIED THAT the budget of up to $700 approved for Council members to attend the CivX 2018: Smart Communities, Smart Region Symposium be funded from Council Contingency as recommended in the memo dated April 11, 2018 from Finance and Technology Department – Financial Services Division regarding Funding Source for CivX 2018: Smart Communities, Smart Region Symposium. 4.3 Funding Source for Delegation Response – Port Moody Ecological Society

Moved and seconded THAT the budget of up to $10,000 allocated to the Port Moody Ecological Society for the 2018 Annual Fingerling Festival be funded from the Festival and Special Event Assistance Program within Cultural Services as recommended in the memo dated April 11, 2018 from Finance and Technology Department – Financial Services Division regarding Funding Source for Delegation Response – Port Moody Ecological Society. Moved, seconded, and CARRIED THAT the foregoing motion be amended by replacing “$10,000” with “$5,000”. The question on the main motion (FC18/041) as amended (by FC18/042) was put to a vote; the following motion was CARRIED:
THAT the budget of up to $5,000 allocated to the Port Moody Ecological Society for the 2018 Annual Fingerling Festival be funded from the Festival and Special Event Assistance Program within Cultural Services as recommended in the memo dated April 11, 2018 from Finance and Technology Department – Financial Services Division regarding Funding Source for Delegation Response – Port Moody Ecological Society.
4.4 Funding Source for Delegation Response – Inlet Spring Regatta

The Committee reviewed the draft property tax notice as circulated on-table and requested that a line item be included in
the notice regarding the Master Transportation Plan levy. 6. Adjournment
