5.1 Flail Mower Attachment Replacement

THAT the expenditure of $40,000.00 for the purchase of a new flail mower attachment be approved with funding to come from the Equipment Replacement Reserve Surplus.

THAT the two user groups who have had their logos installed in centre ice free of charge be advised that the city will now cost share 50/50 for this service and the fee for this service will be under review in two years;
AND THAT the issue of corporate logos on ice be referred to

THAT Environmental Services staff research what services they currently provide might be recoverable and from whom and log the incidents for which Environmental Services staff are used and provide a summary back to the committee.

5.2 Financing Economic Development

THAT all options outlined in the April 20, 2006 report of the Director, Economic & Strategic Development with respect to revenue generatinglcost recovery ideas for economic development programs and activities, with the inclusion of status quo as an additional option, be referred to the Economic, Tourism and Arts Development Committee for discussion and report back to the Finance Committee.
