This meeting was to discuss a motion from the fire department advisory committee in regards to the cities plans for fire hall replacement/relocation.  As chair of the committee, after some debate, I was happy to make the following motion, which was unanimously supported, as it gave clear direction to the committee.  (It should be noted that the committees prior recommendation was based on, and in response to, a report received by city staff.):
