To amend the agreement to allow for the operation of a restaurant - a prospective purchaser of the restored heritage house is looking at opening a pizzaria style restaurant.
 
The owners of the Appleyard House at 2714 Clarke Street had applied to amend the Heritage Revitalization Agreement Bylaw for the Appleyard House which if approved, would:
 
• include a restaurant as an allowable use;
• allow a 286 sq. ft. addition on the ground floor;
and
• allocate four additional parking spaces for the restaurant use on adjacent property at 2708 – 2710 Clarke Street.
