THAT with respect to the Northeast Sector Rapid Transit Alternatives Project: Phase 1 Study, TransLink be advised that Port Moody City Council is opposed to the northwest corridor Sky Train system option.

THAT with respect to the Northeast Sector Rapid Transit Alternatives Project: Phase 1 Study, TransLink be advised thatPort Moody City Council prefers the southeast corridor for Guided Light Transit, Diesel Multiple Units or Sky Train provided that one station for any system option is located at the east end of Port Moody.

THAT with respect to the Northeast Sector Rapid Transit Alternatives Project: Phase 1 Study, TransLink be advised that Port Moody City Council reluctantly supports the northwest corridor Guided Light Transit option only along St. Johns Street;

AND THAT TransLink be requested to assess the relative noise and emission impacts of the technology options under consideration in the Phase 2 Study;

AND THAT the purpose of this resolution is for TransLink to start a public input process following the engineering report in the fall of this year.
